Firstly, thank you very much for being a part of this project.
Where were you born and raised?
Shizuoka, Japan.
What drives you in your work?
When I am strolling outside, drinking at a bar, or partying at a club and I see a random guy wearing our clothes — that always gives me the feeling that all the effort and hard work that was put into making the garment was worth it.
How do you treat yourself after a long week at the grind?
I bought a car recently — a black, vintage Camero. I enjoy going for long drives these days.
Which artist (of any discipline) has inspired you, living or dead and Why?
Dash Snow... I find the way he dresses and the way he expresses himself aesthetically pleasing. Fedora hats. Grillz. Gold necklaces. All that kind of stuff. I’m a big fan of his polaroids, too.
Next holiday destination?
Cambodia or Thailand.
Movie or book you have seen/read this year you would recommend to a friend.
Only Lovers Left Alive, a film by Jim Jarmusch. Adam ... the vintage guitar ... the interiors ... the records. Everything in that film was great.
Favorite car?
64 - 70’s Chevy Impala. I love the shape of the body and the shape of the tail from that era. An impala with wire tires making a turn on three-wheels is where it’s at.
Whats for dinner tonight?
Chinese.
